We’re presenting three short works by acclaimed choreographers, as well as the grand pas de deux from The Nutcracker, a soaring highlight of the beloved ballet.
Cayetano Soto’s Schachmatt (Checkmate) is inspired by Joan Rivers, Pedro Almodóvar, and Bob Fosse. Dancers captivate with razor-sharp wit on a giant chessboard—expect to be wowed and amused.
Sophie Laplane’s Dextera brings her quirky style to Mozart’s music, celebrating the hands of creators and their hard work. A new work titled Echo Echo from Madeline Squire will also have its debut at these performances.
Entertaining, intriguing and stylish, this is the perfect sampler of Scottish Ballet’s award-winning performances.
