Scottish Ballet is delighted to unveil a brand‑new collection of production images for Starstruck, our dazzling celebration of Gene Kelly’s creative legacy. The images provide a first look at the expanded visual world crafted by Christopher Hampson CBE and the creative team, including Lez Brotherston OBE’s elegant designs and the playful, cinematic spirit inspired by Gene Kelly himself. Expect bold colour, crisp lines, and a touch of mischief all brought to life by the extraordinary dancers of Scottish Ballet.
I said to the dancers tonight…you did him proud

Returning to the stage in 2026 in an enhanced, extended two‑act form, this “director’s cut” invites audiences deeper than ever into a world where mythology, romance, and Hollywood glamour collide. The newly released images capture Starstruck’s universe — from the dynamic energy of the rehearsal studio to the shimmering dreamscapes of the surreal Hollywood fantasy. You’ll see the Star Ballerina and Choreographer at the heart of the story, their on‑ and off‑stage worlds intertwining as Gershwin and Ravel’s jazz‑infused score propels them toward love, ambition, and artistic transformation.
Whether you’re revisiting a production you loved in 2021 or discovering Starstruck for the first time, immerse yourself in the glamour, wit, and star-quality awaiting audiences on tour in 2026.
