Filmed in Scottish Ballet’s technical workshop during the Covid-19 lockdown, Oxymore was commissioned for the 2020 Edinburgh International Festival.

Sophie Laplane was first commissioned to create her curious and quirky duet Oxymore for Dance Odysseys, a series of works presented by Scottish Ballet and Gelabert Azzopardi Companyia de Dansa during the 2013 Edinburgh International Festival.
