New dancer arrivals

As the dancers returned from a well-deserved summer break, they arrived to meet four friendly new faces in the studios!

We welcome Rishan Benjamin, Anna Williams, James Hobley and Aaron Venegas who have joined Scottish Ballet as Artists.

  • Rishan was born in London and trained at Central School of Ballet
  • Anna was born in Sheffield and trained at the Northern Ballet Academy & the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Anna also performed as a guest artist with Scottish Ballet in Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s The Fairy’s Kiss and Peter Darrell’s The Nutcracker.
  • James was born in Middlesbrough and trained at The Hammond and English National Ballet School
  • Aaron was born in Madrid and joins us from training at The Royal Ballet School.
