The moment I am most proud of in my career was when I got my first professional contract as an Artist with the Scottish Ballet.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Don’t try to understand life, assume it”
What’s your favourite ballet to watch (and why)?
I would say “La Bayadere”. I love the story and Nikiya character. My favourite part is the second act, the kingdom of shadows.
What do you like to do on your days off?
I like to relax, prepare myself for the upcoming days, have a walk in the centre of the city, go to parties, meet friends….many things.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I studied one year of sociology at university.
What does ‘home’ mean to you?
Basque Country, family and friends. Good meals, late night parties
What’s your favourite ballet to perform (and why)?
Any works from Forsythe. I really love his choreography, the music and the movements. Furthermore, it helps you to improve your technique and your speed, it’s so hard to dance but so enjoyable.
What’s your favourite book/movie (and why)?
My favourite movie is The Truman Show, I watched it when I was child and it shocked me, I really love it. My favorite book is “Liquid love” from Bauman. I really like the sociologist writer because he talked about nowadays society and how love has changed.
