La La Land is my favourite movie. This movie cheered me up to keep pursuing my dream to be a professional dancer.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Rehearse as you perform onstage, perform onstage as you rehearse.
What’s your favourite ballet to watch (and why)?
I love watching Manon. I like all the pas de deux of Manon and Des Grieux and how those pas de deux as well as their relationship evolve as the story goes on. Not to mention the music by Massenet is so beautiful too.
What’s your dream role to perform (and why)?
Tatiana from Onegin. I find it interesting to experience how she grows from a young girl falling in love with Onegin to a matured lady married to the Prince Gremin.
What do you like to do on your days off?
I like to explore the city and find a favourite place for coffee and cake.
What does ‘home’ mean to you?
Home means where I can relax and feel comfortable to be myself.
What’s your hype song?
“Ma Vie, Mes Rêves” by Sheena Ringo
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Think smart, act fast!
