Laura Braid is a Canadian artist with a deep passion for storytelling through movement. After attaining a Fine Arts Diploma and leading Culture Shock Ottawa as artistic director for two years in Canada, Laura’s dedication to her artistry led her overseas to the UK in 2019.

Some of her career highlights thus far include: dance captain for the Double Eleven Workshops with Cirque du Soleil, swing/dance captain/movement assistant for the Prologue cast of Cabaret on the West End, ensemble and lead cover for Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freakshow (International Tour), and most recently associate choreographer of Fiddler On The Roof on the West End and Barbican & UK Tour.

Laura is both thrilled and honoured to be supporting the Scottish Ballet company as choreography assistant for Julia Cheng in this brand new work ‘Entress’.
