David Graduated from the National Film and Television School. He over ten years of experience in feature films/ TV drama/ commercials and music promos.

Recent TV projects include SummerWater a 6 part pyschological drama for Channel 4 starring Shirley Henderson and Dougray Scott (2025). Shetland Series 9 and 10 for BBC (2024 & 2025), Band of Spies, an 8 part high end tv drama for Paramount+ produced by Ananey and Archery Pictures (2024) Irvine Welsh ‘s Crime Series 1 and 2, a high end tv drama staring Dougray Scott, Joanna Vanderham, Jamie Sives, Angela Griffen and Ken Stott, directed by David Blair and Trygve Allister Diesen, and produced by Bucaneer Media (2022 & 2023).

He has also worked with Scottish Ballet resulting in many hybrid feature length film/theatre productions during lockdown including Secret Theatre, Dive, Odyssey and Starstruck.

He has also worked on music promos for artists Biffy Clyro, Chvrches, Belle & Sebastian, Ninth Wave and Creeper. And adverts for Google Earth, The Glenrothes, Highland Park, Oxo, and Boursin.
