What’s your favourite place in Scotland?
Glen Dessary Estate, where Rimbaud and I got married, is my favourite place in Scotland – it’s the most beautiful and special place.

What’s your dream role to perform?
Juliet in Romeo & Juliet is my dream role. The freedom and story of this role is so beautiful and I hope I’ll get the chance to perform it one day.

What do you like to do on your days off?
Going on an adventure with my husband in the highlands or anywhere in the world. Most of all, I like to go on a hike on my days off.

What’s something people might not know about you?
I am a certified personal trainer and I love helping people achieve their fitness goals, as well as develop the best and strongest parts of themselves.

What does ‘home’ mean to you?
Rimbaud, my husband means home to me.

What’s your hype song?
At the moment, La kiffance by Naps is my hype song.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
The advice that I would give to my younger self is: We just have one life so try to enjoy every moment fully.

What makes you smile?
Honestly, dancing makes me smile. My friends, my family and my husband do too!

Repertoire Highlights: Performing Mary Vetsera in The Scandal at Mayerling alongside Evan Loudon as Rudolf was the biggest highlight of my career

‘[Claire Souet] is contrary, passionate, enticing … a lovely pas de deux.’
