
Mary, Queen of Scots Masterclasses
Mary, Queen of Scots Masterclass – 16 years and over
Drawing on Sophie Laplane’s bold choreography blending classicism with modernity, these masterclasses will teach you movement from the production including extracts from the solos and ensemble sections.
Taught by Scottish Ballet Dancers, these classes are the perfect way to build your ballet skills and immerse yourself in Scottish Ballet repertoire.
Tuesday 2 September 6.30pm-8pm with Soloist, Grace Horler – suitable for Adult Absolute Beginners & Beginners level
Tuesday 9 September 6.30pm-8pm with First Artist, Eado Turgeman – suitable for Adult Improvers & Intermediate level
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing (not too loose) and soft-soled ballet shoes, and to bring some water to stay hydrated throughout the class. Changing facilities will not be available for participants, so please arrive fully dressed for your class.
We require you to make us aware of any health issues that may impact your participation via a short form when you sign up for the class. If you are pregnant, have an injury or an existing medical condition we recommend that you seek professional advice before booking and attending a class.
