The Close
The Close project provides a first time ballet experience for young adults delivered in partnership with The Kibble Care and Education Centre and Gorgie Mills Special School.
This vital education project provides young people with a new and enriching cultural experience.
Through artistic projects inspired by contemporary themes based on Scottish Ballet’s productions, individuals are supported to explore their creativity and develop teamwork skills.
To find out how you can support The Close, contact Antonia Brownlee, Director of Philanthropy, on antonia.brownlee@scottishballet.co.uk.
The Close is made possible by Scottish Ballet’s trusts, patrons and foundation supporters.
The Close aims to empower participants by welcoming their creative ideas and building their confidence, communication, self-expression and creative skills, as well as providing a cultural and social education, and enriching new experiences, including attending professional performances, watching rehearsals, and listening to talks from Scottish Ballet dancers.
I love all of it so so good!
