What to expect at this relaxed performance
Meet the dancers
In the theatre foyer you will be met by some of the dancers in costume.
Please feel free to chat or have your photo taken with them. They’ll be delighted to meet you.
If you need help finding places to sit, toilets or other things in the theatre please ask our friendly theatre staff.
The performance begins
After you’re seated in the auditorium, at 2.30pm, Scottish Ballet’s Taylor Han will welcome you to the show.
She will tell you a little about the story of Cinders and introduce you to some of the performers.
If you’d like a break from the onstage excitement, theatre staff can show you to a quiet space.
TV screens will also be on throughout the performance in the foyers, where you can see and hear the performance if you don’t want to return to the auditorium.
Taylor will also introduce you to our BSL interpreter and audio describers.
If you’d like to attend the Relaxed Performance Touch Tour, to see some costumes and props from 1.30-2.00, or to listen to the live Audio Description of Cinders!, please call the box office on 0131 529 6000 to reserve a place at the Touch Tour, or a headset for the audio description. Both are free but limited to 20 places.
