Tamarin Stott

Rehearsal Assistant/P-Med Lead

Tamarin trained in Devon with Rosemary Gillet, and in the associate programmes of The Royal Ballet School and Central School of Ballet. During her two years at The Royal Ballet Upper School she performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet and created original work with Matthew Hart (Cry Baby Kreisler, Sleepers).

She was picked out in her graduation performance by Micheal Rolnick who created the role of the Lilac Fairy in City Ballet of London’s new production of The Sleeping Beauty. Under the directorship of Harold King, she continued to perform extensively with City Ballet of London working with Hans van Manen, Robert North, Mark Baldwin, and Christopher Hampson.

Tamarin then worked in Japan for K-Ballet company performing in seasons of Giselle, Ashton’s Rhapsody, and Six Faces by Adam Cooper.

In 2002 she joined English National Ballet and was promoted to First Artist under director Wayne Eagling. He also chose her to perform the role of the Chosen Maiden in Sir Kenneth Macmillan’s The Rite of Spring at the London Coliseum.

She later worked with Russell Maliphant in Second Breath (Principal role) at the Barbican, and Akram Kahn’s Dust on The Pyramid stage at Glastonbury.

Her own choreographic work has been performed at The Place, Print Room, and Queen Elizabeth Hall. She was commissioned for a short film by Channel Four which was nominated for an award at the Cinedans Film Festival. She was Rehearsal Assistant to Ivgi & Greben (Each Other) for the DIG Festival 2017.
