Sami Fendall works across dance, theatre and film. Recently, Sami designed the feature film Catching Dust, a new work Hotel for the Birmingham Royal Ballet, and the production Smoke at Southwark Playhouse. She is currently developing designs for the musical Cake with choreographer Drew McOnie. 

In 2019, Sami was awarded the overall winner of the National Theatre’s Linbury Prize for Stage Design.
