My colleagues, every day, with their personalities, kindness, support, humour, energy and passion. It’s a privilege to work with such a lovely group of people.

What career moment are you most proud of?
Performing the role of Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible.

What’s your favourite place in Scotland?
Isle of Skye. I’ve only been once but I was completely blown away by the landscapes there – really quite unreal!

What’s your favourite ballet to perform?
One of my favourite ballets to perform is Highland Fling. It is such a fun show with great characters to inhabit and with the setting and costumes, it really couldn’t be a more perfect show for Scottish Ballet to perform.

What do you like to do on your days off?
I love to get outdoors; going for a wild swim, walk or a camping trip. I also love going to the cinema and to gigs and concerts.

What’s something people might not know about you?
I play the guitar; I took it up during lockdown! I really love it – it’s an amazing way to wind down but also work my brain and challenge myself.

What’s your hype song?
It changes all the time but at the moment I’m loving a bit of any Donna Summer disco track. I’ve been building my vinyl collection and trying to find lots of her records.

What makes you smile?
My colleagues, every day, with their personalities, kindness, support, humour, energy and passion. It’s a privilege to work with such a lovely group of people.

What’s your favourite book/movie?
That’s hard, so I’m going to focus on films that I’ve seen recently and pick Limbo. It’s a beautifully understated and humorous yet poignant and powerful film that really stuck with me; I saw it over a year ago and still think about it often.

Repertoire Highlights: Countess Larisch (The Scandal at Mayerling), Elizabeth Proctor (The Crucible), Big Swans (Swan Lake), Madge (Matthew Bourne’s Highland Fling), Gerda (The Snow Queen).
