Marketing & Campaigns Manager

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Marketing & Campaigns Manager to join Scottish Ballet’s Brand, Audience & Digital team.

You will lead our marketing strategy to grow and diversify audiences, drive ticket sales and engagement across live performance, touring and screen activity. From campaign planning to creative direction, you’ll shape how we connect with audiences and convert interest into meaningful engagement.

You will be highly skilled in multi-channel campaign leadership, data-driven decision-making and building partnerships with venues and agencies. This role is a key member of our Brand, Audience & Digital team, working collaboratively with our team across creative, CRM and press functions to deliver integrated campaigns that achieve ambitious growth targets.

What you need to know

Our vacancy is for a Marketing & Campaigns Manager, supporting the Director of Brand, Audience & Digital.

In a nutshell, we want to hear from you if you have:

  • Significant experience in marketing within the arts, culture, entertainment or comparable audience-focused sector.
  • A proven track record of devising and leading integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver sales, engagement or audience growth.
  • Experience leading creative briefing and approval processes, working effectively with creative teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to line manage, develop and support direct reports.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, media buying agencies and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, using sales, audience and digital data to inform marketing strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear campaign messaging and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead strategically while working collaboratively across teams and disciplines.

 

It’s a full-time, permanent role:

  • Salary is £36,000 to £38,000 per annum.
  • The role is full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • Working hours will be flexible, with evening and weekend work applicable to touring schedules, events and business requirements.
  • The role is based at our Glasgow HQ and includes extensive touring (both nationally and internationally).

About the role

The role is based in the Brand, Audience & Digital team, reporting to the Director of Brand, Audience & Digital. The role line manages the Marketing Officer (part-time position).
