Male Identifying Dancers (at Corps de Ballet & Soloist Levels)
Please note that a requirement at the current time (to fit in with existing productions and staging requirements), is a minimum height of 175cm for male identifying dancers.
In a nutshell, we want to hear from you if you have:
- A strong base in classical training and experience in working with contemporary choreography.
- Professional performance experience (minimum 2 years).
- A strong knowledge of the technical and artistic standards of Scottish Ballet.
- The ability to develop positive working relationships and to work within a team.
- A strong affiliation with Scottish Ballet’s productions and our values.

What you need to know
Dancing with Scottish Ballet is within a nurturing and supportive environment where you can learn to grow as an artist and your talent is developed, supporting you to reach your full potential.
It’s a full-time role (initially offered on a 12-month probationary basis):
- Salary dependent on level (this could be at Artist, First Artist, or Soloist level).
- The role is 38 hours per week (full time).
- This role is based in Glasgow at SB HQ, with requirement to travel extensively with the Company on tour in the UK and internationally.
- We offer our Dancers 12 x Saturdays off in any year to reward them for their hard work and to support their wellbeing.
