Leave a gift in your Will

Our Future, Your Legacy

Page Navigation

Leaving a gift in your Will to the Scottish Ballet Endowment Fund (SC049065), large or small, will help to build a resilient, dynamic future for Scotland’s national dance company. Together, gifts to the Scottish Ballet Endowment Fund could help us build state-of-the-art sets and create enchanting costumes for a new ballet, include live musicians at our dance classes for young people or people with neurological conditions, commission a soaring orchestral score or ground-breaking new choreographer, or provide life-changing bursaries for future generations of young dancers.

Annually, Scottish Ballet performs to over 100,000 people in theatres, and over 750,000 people through digital works. Remembering Scottish Ballet in your Will provides essential long-term support to enable the company to reach out to and inspire more people, on stage, on screen and in our communities. Once you have made provisions for those close to you, we invite you to consider making our future part of your legacy.

Whether you have a Will or are yet to prepare one, it is easy to leave a gift in your Will to the Scottish Ballet Endowment Fund and it won’t cost you anything in your lifetime. Find out how to include Scottish Ballet in your Will.

I may not be able to give as much as I would like now, but I can certainly leave Scottish Ballet a gift to continue their wonderful work when I am no longer here. You sow the seeds, you may not get to see the trees grow. But that’s okay, because we are doing it for future generations. It’s a gift I can give even when I’m gone.

The Darrell Bequest Circle

Peter Darrell crosses his arms under his chin as he looks to the distance

In honour of Peter Darrell and his visionary leadership as Scottish Ballet’s founding Artistic Director, and in recognition of the significant role gifts in Wills play securing our future, people who let us know they have included the Scottish Ballet Endowment Fund in their Will are invited to join The Darrell Bequest Circle.

While many do not seek recognition, we encourage everyone who has included Scottish Ballet in their Will to notify us. Joining our ballet family in this way enables you to enjoy insights into the life of the company including special functions and behind-the-scenes events, publications and recognition in souvenir programs and annual reports (unless you wish to remain anonymous).
