If you need a headset to hear the audio description, help finding places to sit, toilets or other things in the theatre please ask our friendly theatre staff.

The performance begins

After you’re seated in the auditorium, at 2.30pm, Scottish Ballet’s Taylor Han will welcome you to the show

She will tell you a little about the story of The Nutcracker and introduce you to some of the performers.

If you’d like a break from the onstage excitement, theatre staff can show you to a quiet space.

TV screens will also be on throughout the performance in the foyers, where you can see and hear the performance if you don’t want to return to the auditorium.

Taylor will also introduce you to our BSL interpreter and audio describers.
