Richard has 30 years commercial experience in a career that has spanned aerospace to professional services with a majority of that time focused on financial services. As a huge supporter of Scottish Ballet his initial involvement was through corporate connections where he recognised the community and social significance of the Company alongside its growing international artistic reputation. His eclectic background extends to a PhD from the Department of Zoology at Glasgow University and Richard also serves as a Non- Executive Director on the Boards of House for an Art Lover and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
