Worrying about things you can’t control is a waste of time.
What’s your favourite place in Scotland?
Old Castle Lachan is my favourite spot in Scotland. It’s absolutely stunning and is where I got engaged so it’s filled with so many happy memories.
What’s your favourite ballet to watch?
I have two, Manon and Romeo and Juliet. Hard to choose between the two. I absolutely love the music in both of these ballets.
What’s your dream role to perform?
There are a few to choose from but I think my top would be the role of Manon.
What’s something people might not know about you?
I’m a qualified dog groomer.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Stop worrying about everything so much. Worrying about things you can’t control is a waste of time.
What makes you smile?
Being surrounded by my close friends and family especially my husband and our dog.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The superpower I would choose would be invisibility.
What’s the best thing about going on tour with the company?
We get to visit loads of new places and dance in some beautiful cities and theatres.
Performing in David Dawson’s Swan Lake. It is one of the hardest ballets I have danced. It is such a rewarding piece and physically and mentally demanding. I absolutely loved the challenge.
Dancing the roles of Mazelda and Lexi in The Snow Queen. These roles are so fun, I enjoyed taking on the characters and seeing how far I could take them. They are enjoyable and rewarding roles to do.
