What career moment are you most proud of?
My promotion to Principal on stage along with my dance partner Evan Loudon, which made it even more special and emotional.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
To go clubbing. It came from my teacher for improvisation and composition at the Conservatoire. The idea was to encourage us to let go and have fun, and I think we forget this sometimes with ballet technique!

What’s your dream role to perform?
It would be Odette/Odile in David Dawson’s Swan Lake. I love his movement and the challenge of sustaining the athleticism all the way through both acts, with it being seamless at the same time.

What’s something people might not know about you?
I am studying psychology at the Open University.

What does ‘home’ mean to you?
‘Home’ means France. This is where I’m from and I’m still very attached to its culture (food, cinema, language and books, the way we socialise…), its beautiful and diverse regions, and of course my family and friends from school.

What’s the funniest thing that’s happened on stage/in the studio?
On stage, in Hansel & Gretel, playing the parents, Evan was supposed to flip me onto the sofa, but I fell onto the floor. He picked me right up, but we were supposed to pretend to be asleep right after. It was a fail… we couldn’t hold back the giggles.

What makes you smile?
My partner’s smile.

What’s the best thing about going on tour with the company?
Socialising with everyone and visiting new places when we tour internationally.
