What career moment are you most proud of?
Performing the role of Crown Prince Rudolf in The Scandal at Mayerling. Preparing for the role was a long and extremely rewarding process. It took a few months to learn the choreography and make it my own. Performing the roll was a dream come true which I thought I’d not get the chance to do and something I will always hold close to my heart.

What’s your favourite ballet to watch?
Romeo and Juliet because the music is beautiful and it’s hard not to get emotionally invested in the story.

What’s your favourite ballet to perform?
My favourite ballet I’ve performed is The Scandal at Mayerling because the feeling of fulfilment and adrenaline I felt at the end was indescribable. It is such a mammoth ballet and the journey you go on during it is overwhelming in such an amazing way.

What do you like to do on your days off?
I like to relax and go for a nice lunch or dinner or go to the movies.

What does ‘home’ mean to you?
Where you can be completely yourself.

What’s the funniest thing that’s happened on stage/in the studio?
My trousers unbuttoned on stage and I had to hold them up while dancing.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Be patient and enjoy the journey. It has been helpful throughout the entire life not just in my career, but in my personal life too.

What’s the best thing about going on tour with the company?
The memories you make. Going up to the highlands and islands of Scotland, being able to be involved in the communities and talking to the audience after create great memories because it makes it more personal.
