If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for Company Manager at Scottish Ballet.

Scottish Ballet is seeking an astute forward planner with an eye for detail, and robust problem-solving ability to support us on stage and beyond. Your personal contribution will help us continue to deliver first class performances and tours in Scotland, the UK and internationally.

What you need to know

Our vacancy is for Company Manager supporting the Scottish Ballet touring company.

In a nutshell, this role is best suited to someone who has:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, a willingness to contribute new ideas and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Flexibility of personal commitments to cope with travel, touring and attending performances and other events including evenings and weekends.
  • An affinity with Scottish Ballet’s culture and values and enthusiasm for the arts.

 

It’s a full-time, permanent role:

  • Salary is up to £35,000 to £38,000 per annum.
  • The role is full-time, 35 hours per week (non-touring weeks – adjusted for touring weeks).
  • Working hours will be flexible, with evening and weekend work applicable to touring schedules and business travel requirements.
  • The role is based in our Glasgow HQ (non-touring weeks) and includes extensive travel.
