Dance for Parkinson's Scotland Hybrid

Join either in-person or online

Page Navigation

These ‘hybrid’ classes have the option to take part either in the studio or in the comfort of your own home.

They aim to improve balance, spatial awareness, confidence and fluidity of movement.

Led by a team of dance health specialists, each session lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes and includes a variety of seated and standing movements.

As with all Scottish Ballet Health programmes, there is a social time before the class (from 12.30pm) to connect with others with lived experience of Parkinson’s, and to build friendships and a community of support.

You should wear comfortable clothes and socks with grips, bare feet, or indoor shoes.

After booking, each week a link to the online class will be sent to you on the morning of your class.
