Touring Wardrobe Lead

What we’re looking for

Are you a highly organised, motivated people person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a passion for the arts with experience of working within a wardrobe department? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Technical Team.

What you need to know

Our vacancy is for a Touring Wardrobe Lead to be the lead support for the Wardrobe Department while on tour, including the preparation, maintenance and archiving of costumes for all productions.

In a nutshell, this role is best suited to someone who has:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced wardrobe environment
  • A commitment to embrace our company values and culture being open and able to work as part of the Scottish Ballet team
  • A passion for being a key contributor to the team that takes Scottish Ballet’s productions on tour both nationally and internationally

It’s a permanent role:

  • Salary is up to £28,000 per annum dependant on experience.
  • This role is based in Glasgow at SB HQ, with requirement to travel extensively with the Company on tour in the UK and internationally.
  • The role is full-time, around 35 hours per week while working at base, with flexibility of working hours to accommodate travel, touring, attending performances and other events in the evenings and at weekends.
