Scottish Ballet is seeking a leader with a clear passion for the arts and a keen interest to work in partnership across culture, health and education.
Please note that an integral part of the role will be leading on safeguarding as Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult Officer for Scottish Ballet.

What you need to know
Our vacancy is for Head of Engagement to lead and inspire the Engagement Team.
In a nutshell, this role is best suited to someone who has:
- Strong interpersonal skills, bravery, diplomacy and the ability to establish excellent working relationships.
- Experience of working in a senior leadership role within the performing arts with a natural ability and drive that garners respect and trust.
- Knowledge of dance, and an understanding and appreciation of Scottish Ballet’s artistic vision.
- A strong understanding of community arts and professional performance.
- An affinity with Scottish Ballet’s culture and values.
- An enthusiastic interest in the transformational potential of arts health and education.
It’s a full-time, permanent role:
- Salary is up to £50,000 per annum.
- The role if full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Working hours will be flexible, with evening and weekend work applicable to touring schedules and business travel requirements
- The role is primarily based in our Glasgow HQ with requirement to tour both around the UK and also internationally.
