Finance Assistant

Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)

What we’re looking for

Are you currently looking to gain experience working as part of a small Finance team assisting in the effective and efficient running of a charity business? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you.

What you need to know

Our vacancy is for a temporary Finance Assistant who will play an important role in providing a high standard of financial administration and related information services for Scottish Ballet.

In a nutshell, we want to hear from you if you have:

  • Great communication, interpersonal, organisational and written skills.
  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships (both internal and external) and establish credibility.
  • Existing experience of working in an accounts department is desirable.

 

It’s a temporary role to cover a period of maternity leave (of up to 12 months):

  • Salary is between £23,000 and £24,000 per annum (pro rata) dependant on experience.
  • The role is part-time, around 21 hours per week.
  • This role is primarily based at our Glasgow HQ.

This role is part of the Finance Team and reports to the Finance & Operations Director.
