Scottish Ballet welcomes applications from all communities and backgrounds, building a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We particularly welcome applications from those who have experienced discrimination or barriers to inclusion, and we provide specialist support where needed.

We are keen to hear from those based in or around Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, or Inverness. Travel to venues across Scotland and England during touring weeks (w/c 2 December 2024 to w/c 3 February 2025) is also a requirement. Performance dates and locations are all available on our website.

In a nutshell, we want to hear from you if you have all or some of the following attributes:

  • Great communication and listening skills, personable approach
  • Ability and willingness to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion especially for those under your care
  • Enthusiasm for the role, the Arts, or an interest in Scottish Ballet’s activities

Scottish Ballet has made a commitment to reflect the priorities & values outlined in our Child & Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy across the company. As Chaperone, you will be a really important part of Scottish Ballet’s commitment and also inspiring audiences (young and old) on stage and beyond.
